the 1950’s Etonic began production of Golf shoes
for both professionals and Pro Shops. By the
1970’s, the running boom had arrived and Etonic
introduced the Trans Am comfort shoe, and the
Streetfighter, its first technical running shoe.
By the 80’s, Etonic was considered among the
leaders in the technical running market and still
remains among the leaders in this highly
specialized market. In 2002, Etonic introduced its
DRx line to address the needs of the therapeutic
and diabetic foot care markets. Etonic produced
the first athletic inspired double depth shoe for
this growing market and is a leader in this
